CIRCUITO VINCENZA

ETNA AND THE AEOLIAN ISLANDS BY HELICOPTER

Start your discovery of Sicily and some of its UNESCO heritage wonders from top view and take an exclusive helicopter tour. Take off from Masseria della Volpe’s private helipad to fly around Etna volcano and discover its craters, fumaroles and lava fields. Then head for Aeolian Islands where you fly over Lipari and its famous sea stacks and pumice quarries, then lay a course to Panarea and finally visit spectacular Stromboli volcano and its lava flows.

This part of the island is blessed with unspoilt beaches where you can spend memorable days by the sea enjoying sandy sea beds interspersed with rocks and crystal clear shallow water. FISHING AND SEA TOURS

Marzamemi is a cute fishing village and the site of an old tuna fishing station. THE OBSERVATORY: DISCOVERING THE MYSTERIES OF THE SKY

Near Noto, a huge dish belonging to the National Astrophysics Institute watches the sky in search of new stars. About 15 km from Noto, the capital of Baroque architecture and world heritage site, a radio telescope with a large parabolic antenna, 32 metres in diameter, observes the sky in search of new stars, planets and galaxies.
